 The
Telemark industry is on the verge of major breakthroughs. Despite
continued talk, the New Telemark Norm (NTN) has yet to emerge after
a number of years. We are the real thing, here and now. We have
the design/manufacturing experience and expertise to take steps
forward in the advancement of telemark gear.
The patented (US pat,# 6,467,796,B1) concepts involved in Peak Rigs
bindings could be adapted to all boot and cable designs. The true
simplicity of this system provides the ease of touring as well as
downhill stability. Is it too much to ask for skiers to have pins,
not have pins and/or various cable options in one system? This is
only a small step toward advancements in which we have new and solid
design concepts. No matter what direction boot companies take Peak
Rigs can be incorporated into the boot/binding design. Obvious solutions
are so often overlooked. We know that there are adventurers out
there with the vision and foresight to recognize true potential
