The Company We Keep

Peak Rigs LLC is owned and operated by Jim Farrier and Josh Weltman. Our shop is located in Driggs, Idaho where Jim manufactures primarily aviation related products. We have been developing Peak Rigs together for over three years.

We decided to go into the binding business after we saw that there was really no toe piece that was up to the performance and durability standards required of today's plastic boots and telemark skiers, especially finicky backcountry skiers.

We believe that the nature of the connection between you and your skis in the backcountry, where it really counts, needs to be of a simple mechanical nature. That is part of the tradition and soul of telemark skiing and can not be duplicated by more complicated systems.

Peak Rigs LLC is still a young company. With Jim Farrier's decades of product development and manufacturing experience in the aviation industry we are well above the 'learning curve' of emerging manufacturers. We place quality craftsmanship, materials and durability first. It is our goal to produce a high performance binding that will provide a lifetime of skiing enjoyment. Our prerogative is to enrich your ski time.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any reason. We look forward to hearing from you.
